Leicester have been working all season long to nudge their way to the top of the table and the favourite position to win the Premiership this season. They now lead the pack and their odds to win the league outright have shortened dramatically to stand at 5/4 with Boylesports and Betfred.

It was the fourth consecutive victory for the tourists, and McGeechan & co now look like they have the basis of team which can cause the Springboks a considerable headache. The centre partnership of Brian O’ Driscoll & Jamie Roberts looks formidable at the moment, while Mike Phillips at scrum half looks to have made that position his own, with another ballsy, no nonsense display. The back row also looked incredibly committed at the break down which was an improvement from more recent encounters and its going to be an interesting week or two, before the first test kicks off on 20th June.
