Its been along and winding road for Newcastle and Alan Shearer but this Sunday at around 6 o clock the Toon faithfull will finally find out whether they are to once again to tread the Premiership boards or if they will be fighting  it out in the extremely competitive Championship next season.

Werder Bremen v Shaktar Donesk

Its the UEFA Cup final this Wednesday from Fenerbahce’s home ground Sukru Saracoglu Stadium which sees Bundesliga’s Werder Bremen taking on the Russian Might of Shaktar Donesk.

Sunderland are still not out of the relegation quagmire and they travel to Paul Harts’s Portsmouth side knowing that a win will see them out of the survival race and will bring another season of Premiership football to Tyneside.
