This is it - Judgement day for the Toon!
Its been along and winding road for Newcastle and Alan Shearer but this Sunday at around 6 o clock the Toon faithfull will finally find out whether they are to once again to tread the Premiership boards or if they will be fighting it out in the extremely competitive Championship next season.
Its seems that the bookies have already made up their minds and it looks like the thumbs down from them, with Newcastle a short 4/7 to be relegated. Of course there is the opportunity for them to stay up but in hindsight relegation may not be a bad thing for them. They have had a miserable few seasons, with the return of the first prodigal son in Kevin Keegan, and then the return of Prodigal son #2 in Alan Shearer, and lets not forget Dennis Wise and Joe Kinnear in between.
With little stability in the club and a dubious transfer system which has seen an extreme lack of any young blood coming through the ranks at St James, the next few years will be crucial, and hopefully the board will skim off the big money earners who frankly look like they are just there to top up their retirement pension funds.
Anyway despite that little rant, there is silver lining despite this being the final weekend of Premiership games this season. With a full Premiership fixture list to choose from, we have once again managed to secure some very nice free bets for all customers of www.freebetvouchers.co.uk!
This time its Stan James, a very well known bookmaker and they have kindly donated a free £25 bet for all new customers.

Werder Bremen v Shaktar Donesk
Its the UEFA Cup final this Wednesday from Fenerbahce’s home ground Sukru Saracoglu Stadium which sees Bundesliga’s Werder Bremen taking on the Russian Might of Shaktar Donesk.
Interestingly, both these teams are in the final after dropping out of the Champions League. Since defeating AC Milan in the earlier rounds, the majority of the money has been put on the German club and it will be interesting to see if they live up to their billing as favourites at 6/4. Shaktar themselves can feel pretty proud of their achivement, as they’ve come through some potential banana skins pretty easily, defeating Tottenham 3-1 and Marseille 4-1 on the way to the final.
The big factor coming into this game however is that Bremen star man Diego will miss the final after picking up a yellow in the previous round ,and with six goals already for the German side in the competition this really is a blow. With Shaktar also only conceding five goals in their last eight UEFA Cup games it may better to oppose Bremen - Shaktar are available at a nice price of 9/5 and for us this is a stand out bet.
Of course there are numerous bookmakers offering free bets on the game, the best of which is Bet365, who have kindly donated free bets of £100 to all new customers, and have the biggest odds on Shaktar of 9/5.

Sunderland are still not out of the relegation quagmire and they travel to Paul Harts’s Portsmouth side knowing that a win will see them out of the survival race and will bring another season of Premiership football to Tyneside.
Knowing that they face Chelsea in the final game at the Stadium of Light next week, I’m sure Hart and his side will be putting everything into this game and they look pretty decent value at a largish looking 12/5 for the away win. Pompey have struggled of late, losing three out of their last four games, and not scoring a single goal. A similar story can be said of the Black Cats, but in reality they have their entire season resting on this game and they should be up for the fight.
Of course there are plenty of free bet offers on the game and we like the £50 on offer from giant online bookmakers 888Sport.

The 2009 Premiership season finally has a winner, as Manchester United eased out a goalless draw with Arsenal, making it impossible for the chasing pack to catch them.
In Sundays games, Liverpool beat West Brom 2-0, with the Baggies unfortunately relegated from the premiership for another season. Can they bounce straight back tho? Liverpool do look like mounting a realistic chance of pushing Man Utd all the way next year, and if Ronaldo finally leaves for Real Madrid, I’m sure the Premiership will be alot tighter.
Chelsea rounded off an impressive run of form under the leadership of Guus Hiddink, beating a Blackburn side 2-0 - Rovers looking to have one foot on the beach already. Its getting tight at the top of the premiership golden boot too, with both Anelka and Ronaldo on 18 goals. Liverpool skipper has an impressive 16 goals from midfield.

Weekend Premiership Free Bets
Its another huge weekend of football in the English Premiership, with the title race really hotting up and its getting very twitchy for the teams at the bottom! At the summit, its the Manchester derby as United take on City from Old Trafford. City fans will be hoping Robinho can continue his recent scoring record of finding the net in his last three, but realistically it does look an extremely difficult encounter as Alex Ferguson’s side look formidable at the moment.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have a great record at West Ham in recent years but Gianfranco Zola has tightened things up at the back and Liverpool look a little short at 8/13 for the away win. Back in the northeast, it really is nail biting times as Newcastle face fellow strugglers Middlesbrough at St James. A win for the Geordies really is a must - but it may prove fruitless if Hull can win their home game over Stoke. Its all ifs, buts and maybes! Of course there’s also the football league playoffs in the Championship, Leagues One and Two.
Thankfully, we’ve managed to wrangle a free bet for you from Stan James, who will offer all freebetvouchers.co.uk customers a free £25 bet on any sport of your choice, and with a bumper weekend of action Im sure you can find something!
